For 5 straight years, he earned unprecedented respect from his peers as Music Director of the Year for his efforts making 99.5 The Wolf a stellar success. Cody’s quick wit and bright charm shines, landing interviews with country music’s biggest stars- George Strait, Faith Hill and Keith Urban to name a few. And with ears like hit-seeking missles, he’s made careers beyond his own bright, with discoveries like Pat Green and Jack Ingram. Cody dreamed of radio as a child. After radio stints in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida, Cody made it to the major leagues at age 23 when he landed a gig at KPLX/99.5 The Wolf in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Along the way, Cody has received numerous national awards including DJ of the Year, with his most recent nomination from the Academy of Country Music. Nominated for Radio Music Awards Air Personality of the Year, Cody has been honored at the Grand Ole Opry, and featured on CMT, in USA Today, and GQ Magazine. The Country Radio Broadcasters gave Cody their top on-air personality award when he was named the “Aircheck Idol” winner. As well, Cody has been named Radio and Records Music Director of the Year 5 times, while Billboard magazine and the Radio Music Awards honored Cody with the annual title twice.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cody and his wife Terresa along with daughters Lauren and Makayla, and son Landon all currently reside in Salt Lake City, Utah.
