The singer shared the joyous news to social media on Sunday, October 7 writing, “Gonna have a new band member in the Mooney family,” with a grinning icon. “2017 is gonna be the start of our best adventure yet! Mini Mooney is comin in hot,” he adds, finishing with, “I love you, @hannah.billingsley.” Mooney and Billingsley got engaged on August 9, and later announced it to the world in another social media post a few days later. “I liked it…so I put a ring on it,” the singer captioned a photo of himself and Billingsley. “I’m the luckiest man in the world. @hannah.billingsley I love you.” “Words aren’t enough. Truly the happiest day of my life. 8/9/16 I love you so much @shaymooney,” she replied via Instagram. Billingsley was Miss Arkansas USA in 2013. Along with Dan Smyers, Mooney is one-half of Dan + Shay, who shot to fame in 2013 with their debut single, “19 You + Me.” Their debut album, Where It All Began, scored two more hit singles in “Show You Off” and “Nothin’ Like You,” the latter of which reached No. 1 on Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart.
