5 Things Not To Miss At Pride This Weekend:

  1. Hello, Mr. Debit Card! The Festival is finally letting you buy tickets online, so you can speed through all those lines to get in. One quick stop to grab your wristband and you’re in, baby! Your card’s good with all the food and drink vendors, too.
  2. Pride Festival Opening Ceremonies: never to be missed, the Opening Ceremony is Friday (6.3) at Library Square. You’ll see all the marchers from the rallies enter the amphitheatre, there’s live music, awards, and tons of food and drink available.
  3. Utah Pride 5K: come put those fabulous legs of yours to good use on Sunday (6.5) at 9am. Fabulous and/or outrageous costuming not only allowed but actively encouraged.
  4. Utah Pride Parade: do you realize this is now the second biggest parade in Utah? The parade route begins at 200 South and West Temple and runs east, ending at 200 South and 400 East.
  5. Belinda Carlisle! The former lead singer of the GoGo’s is performing on the Main Stage at 5:45pm Sunday (6.5). The woman is amazing in concert.
