With all the bad press that cow milk has been getting there was bound to be an animal’s milk that would step to the forefront, and that animal is a camel.
Nutrition experts say it tastes like cow milk and has five times more Vitamin C and 10 times more iron than cow milk. Camel milk also doesn’t have as many allergens as cow milk. One of the big concerns for camel milk is that many products are unpasteurized. Now some really like raw milk, but it can cause food-borne illness.
