The man accused of assaulting an NBC News reporter covering Hurricane Ida has been arrested.
Reporter Shaquille Brewster was reporting from Gulfport, Mississippi when a man driving a white pickup truck began harassing him, lunging forward and screaming in Brewster’s face before the camera cut away.
54-year-old Benjamin Dagley was arrested in Dayton, OH.
He faces charges of simple assault, disturbing the peace, and violating curfew.
He was also wanted in Ohio on a previous probation violation.
