Coco  (PG)

The latest animated Pixar movie is about a boy named Miguel who accidentally enters the underworld on the Mexican Day of the Dead.  He then tries to find his dead grandfather to ask him why his family has forbidden anyone from playing music.

Benjamin Bratt plays a famous dead singer he meets in the underworld.  And Gael Garcia Bernal is a skeleton helping the kid pretend to be one of the dead.

Roman J. Israel, Esq  (PG-13)

Denzel Washington is a disillusioned L.A. defense attorney who gets in money trouble and is driven to break attorney-client privilege to collect a $100,000 reward from the family of a guy killed during a convenience store robbery.

Colin Farrell plays a lawyer who recruits him to his law firm, and Carmen Ejogo is a woman who runs a non-profit and falls for the idealist activist Denzel used to be

The Man Who Invented Christmas  (PG)

Dan Stevens from “Beauty and the Beast” plays Charles Dickens in the story of how he created his holiday masterpiece “A Christmas Carol”, and came up with all the characters like Scrooge and Tiny Tim.

Christopher Plummer is also in it as Ebenezer Scrooge.
