Easter, Easter, Easter!  There are a ton of Easter activities this weekend, but also woodland fairies, tulips, a great recycling event and book sale.

TODAY:  U Recycle Day @ Rice Eccles Stadium

Bring your electronic waste, old personal documents, and some hard-to-recycle items to U Recycle Day, an annual event for responsibly recycling. Participants are also invited to donate non-perishable food items for the on-campus Feed U food pantry. Open to University of Utah and Salt Lake communities. Residential items only; no business waste. See website for list of materials. Sponsored by Pepsi.

 

Spring Used Book Sale @ Salt Lake Main Library

Find great deals on books, music, movies, and more!  The Spring Used Book Sale offers a well-rounded collection of materials, including children’s books, teen fiction, graphic novels, sci-fi, and audiobooks, all available at bargain prices.  More info here.

 

Tulip Festival @ Thanksgiving Point

Enjoy Thanksgivings Point’s annual Tulip Festival.  Tulips, daffodils, Hyacinths and other spring flowers decorate the Ashton Garden’s during this festival.  The children will enjoy finding the 15 wooden shoes along the paths.  Follow link for more info.

 

Woodland Fairy Festival @ Gardner Village

Shhhh… Be very quiet, and you just might spot one. The fairies have landed at Gardner Village! The warmer weather has these magical creatures coming out from their winter hibernation. Look high. Look low. See if you and your kiddos can spot our enchanted residents. With tiny houses and bitty scenes in our center court area and around every turn, you’ll make big memories that will last long after the fairies have taken flight for the summer.
