Singer & Actor Kenny Rogers Dies At 81

Singer, actor, ‘The Gambler’ Kenny Rogers dies at 81.

The grammy-winning musician who spanned jazz, folk, country and pop with such his hits  “Lucille,” “Lady” and “Islands in the Stream” and embraced his persona as “The Gambler” on record and on TV died Friday night. He was 81. He died at home in Sandy Springs, Georgia, while he was under hospice care and died of natural causes.

Att his time his family will be doing a private funeral with the recent COVID-19 pandemic and will schedule a public memorial for a later date.

Even long time friend Dolly Parton took to social media to post about the passing of her dear friend.
