Sub for Santa this Holiday Season!

You may not know this, but my parents were adopted. This is something very close to my heart.

Most children in foster care dream of a permanent family for Christmas. The Adoption Exchange works year-round to provide intensive, child-focused recruitment to connect children and families. Last year, they helped connect 48 Utah children with loving, supportive families and are so thrilled that those children will get to spend the holidays surrounded by love this year.

Of course, their work is not done—there are many children still waiting for the right family to welcome them into their home. In addition to The Adoption Exchange’s ongoing services, the holidays present us the opportunity to impact children’s lives in a different way. This year their goal is to make Christmas special for over 600 Utah children, but they need your help!

How You Can Help

There are two major ways to participate in the Sub for Santa Program:

Sponsor a Child

Receive information about a specific child and view their holiday wishlist. You’ll then “Sub for Santa” by buying a few of the child’s individual wants and needs. They recommend spending about $100 for each child you choose to sponsor. All gifts will need to be delivered to their office in Midvale by December 8th, 2017.

SPONSOR A CHILD

Donate to the Program

Last year, five hundred children in Utah’s residential treatment centers and foster homes received Christmas gifts made possible through your generosity.  They hope to provide happy holiday memories for even more children this year!

The Adoption Exchange needs your help in to reach our goal of providing gifts for over 600 children! Donations of any size directly impact our ability to wrap presents, deliver packages, and ensure that every child has a memorable Christmas!
