When will restaurant workers remember to keep their nasty comments about customers to themselves and not spell it out on receipts? The latest example comes from New York where a man posted his burger receipt on social media. The order had instructions to “please spit in it too.”
The customer had already eaten the burger when he saw the receipt. He said he felt like he was going to throw up. He confronted the waitress about the comment. She said she didn’t do it and walked away. The customer then went to the manager about the situation. The waitress was fired on the spot and the customer got a refund for his meal.
Do you not send food back for fear someone might spit on it?
