With employers expecting to hire 4 percent more graduates from the Class of 2018 than in the previous year,WalletHub today released its report on 2018’s Best & Worst States for Jobs.

To ease the process of finding employment for job seekers, WalletHub compared the 50 states across 29 key indicators of job-market strength, opportunity and economic vitality. The data set ranges from employment growth to median annual income to average commute time.

Finding a Job in Utah (1=Best; 25=Avg.)

  • 8th – Job Opportunities
  • 12th – Employment Growth
  • 8th – Unemployment Rate
  • 1st – Median Annual Income (Adjusted for Cost of Living)
  • 1st – Avg. Length of Work Week (in Hours)
  • 11th – Avg. Commute Time (in Minutes)
  • 5th – Job Satisfaction
