The most epic concert of all time happened at ESA over the weekend.
Eric Church was supposed to perform his Outsiders Tour Set just like any other night until his entire band and crew came down with a stomach flu. The only reason there was a stage was because of the good people at ESA set something up. Eric Church could of cancelled the show but he did not want to disappoint his fans. The show must go on.
Eric came out on stage and performed a solo acoustic version of Talladega. He then proceeded to the the crowd, “Here’s the deal: Yesterday we had the stomach flu strike our band, our crew, everyone. We had no one to hang video, lights, nothing. But I’m still here. I’m still standing,” he said. “We’ve talked about how every show on the Outsiders Tour is different. Well, tonight will be the most different one. Shit, there’s nobody left. It’s just me.”
Eric proceeded to play a 19 song set, all acoustic. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was so intimate, yet there were 8,000+ people in the areana.
