Kenny Chesney and rock singer Grace Potter are back together on his latest single, an easy-going young-love ballad called “Wild Child.”

Chesney and Potter previously teamed up on “You and Tequila,” a steamy Top 10 hit from Chesney’s Hemingway’s Whiskey album. But while that song was all passion and lust, “Wild Child” is playful more than sexy.

Acoustically driven and midtempo, lofty harmonies describe an adventurous girl who expresses herself with strange clothes and loves all the bands you’ve never heard of but is really still a sweet, good girl at heart.

As Chesney and Potter sing: “She’s innocent but still a little wild child.”

The third single from Chesney’s The Big Revival, “Wild Child” follows two Billboard country airplay chart toppers — “American Kids” and “Til It’s Gone.”

The song was written by Chesney, Shane McAnally (“American Kids,” “Leave the Night On”) and Josh Osborne (“Come Over,” “Chainsaw”).
