The energy in the Vivint arena last Saturday night was indescribable as opener Karyn Rochelle stepped on stage just after 7:00 pm to preform a 3 song set which included Kelly Pickler’s famous Red high heel. Karyn is a very sweet and talented Nashville artist who we hope to hear more from in the future!
Just after 8:00 pm the crowd began to scream as Garth Brooks took the stage. Fans young and old sang along to every song, both old and new. Garth was very down to earth and thanked the crowd for coming out to support him after he went into retirement 17 years ago to raise his 3 children. Garth Brooks played all of his old songs including many from the late 80’s and early 90’s including “the dance” “if tomorrow never comes” and of course the famous “the thunder rolls”. Garth Brooks was surprisingly full of more energy than we thought possible for the 53 year old country singer- He was running back and forth across the stage jumping and fist pumping throughout the songs!

Trisha Yearwood also graced the stage in green paint and a marvelous black dress and witches hat for a short 4 song set  which included her famous “she’s in love with the boy” as well as a duet with husband Garth Brooks that ended in a sweet kiss that left Garth with a green nose.
