Joaquin Phoenix is set to jump into the comic book world as the Joker in a new origin movie about the famed comic book character.
Warner Bros. has announced that the movie is a go with Hangover director Todd Phillips directing and co-writing the film. The film begins production later this year. Warner Bros. did not give a release date.
