It was on this day in 2005 that the movie “Broke Back Mountain” premiered and in 1992 Jerry Rice scored his 101st record breaking touchdown.

Country Music History

1980 Ronnie Milsap’s “Smoky Mountain Rain”(watch music video) is #1 on the Billboard country charts.

1984 Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson record “Highwayman”(watch music video) at Nashville’s Moman Studios. guitarist Marty Stuart contributed to the record as session guitarist.

2003 Brad Paisley performs at the wedding reception of Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, who met in the ABC-TV reality show “The Bachelorette”.

2012 Sugarland vocalist Jennifer Nettles and her husband, Justin Miller, welcome a son, Happy 5th Birthday Magnus Hamilton Miller
