1946 Happy Birthday Naomi Judd  born on this day in Ashland, Kentucky. Along with daughter Wynonna, The Judds become the pre-eminent duo of the ’80s including hits such as“Love Can Build a Bridge” and “Grandpa Tell Me About The Good Old Days”

1997 Kevin Sharp’s remake of The Tony Rich Project’s “Nobody Knows” hits #1 on the Billboard country singles chart.

2003 Mark Wills begins a six-week stay at the Billboard summit with “19 Somethin'”

2010 Capitol releases Luke Bryan’s “Rain Is A Good Thing” to radio.
