(more information available at national day)  Talk show host Rush Limbaugh is celebrating a birthday Friday.  He was born in 1951.  Also Radio personality Howard Stern.  He was born in 1954.  Julia Louis-Dreyfus of the Seinfeld TV series celebrates a birthday Saturday.  She was born in 1961.

1939 Happy Birthday William Lee Golden from the band The Oak Ridge Boys, born on this day in Brewton, Alabama.   His most famous vocals with The Oak Ridge Boys, “Thank God For Kids”

1952 Happy Birthday Ricky Van Shelton is born on this day in Grit, Virginia.  Best known for “Statue Of A Fool,” Ricky wins the CMA’s Male Vocalist of the Year in 1989.

1990 Keith Whitley hits #1 on the Billboard country chart with “It Ain’t Nothin”

1991 Garth Brooks occupies the #1 position on the Billboard country singles chart with “Unanswered Prayers”

1995 The Tim McGraw single “Not A Moment Too Soon” claims the #1 position on the Billboard country chart.

1996 Faith Hill is at #1 on the Billboard country singles chart with “It Matters To Me”

2006 “George Strait “She Let Herself Go” goes to #1 on the Billboard country chart.

2009 Capitol releases Lady Antebellum’s “I Run To You” to country radio.
