Trace Adkins to Host Free Concert for Mayfield Tornado Relief

Mayfield, Kentucky, is set to receive a much-needed boost after being hit by a devastating tornado outbreak in December 2021. Country music star Trace Adkins has announced that he will host a free concert on May 20, 2023, as part of his Somewhere in America Tour. Presented by KIOTI Tractor, the show is called “Somewhere in America: A Concert for Mayfield,” and it will take place at the CFSB War Memorial Stadium at Mayfield High School.

Adkins, who recently released his album “The Way I Wanna Go” in August 2021, will also be filming the music video for his song “Somewhere in America” during the event. The show is expected to uplift and unite the community, which has been rebuilding after the destructive tornadoes.

The singer-songwriter is known for his hits such as “You’re Gonna Miss This,” “Ladies Love Country Boys,” and “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.” He has won numerous awards, including three Academy of Country Music Awards, and has been nominated for a Grammy.

The Somewhere in America Tour is a nationwide tour that Adkins began in 2022 and is set to run through the end of the year. The tour features songs from his latest album, as well as some of his greatest hits.

The free concert in Mayfield is sure to be a memorable event for the town and its residents. It will provide a much-needed opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy some great music, and celebrate the resilience and strength of Mayfield.
