Well That Didn’t Last Long “Tesla” Not The Top US Automaker Anymore

On Monday Tesla’s Stock price closed higher than ever before. Putting it at a higher valuation than Ford and General Motors at $50.9 billion dollars. Making it the most valuable car company in America. But by today that price was down a few billion dollars putting GM back in the top spot. Valuation will continue to fluctuate but Tesla is expected to continue to rise in the long run.

GM sold over 10 million vehicles in 2016, while Tesla sold around 76,000. It still doesn’t come close when you include production numbers but Tesla will continue to be The Little Engine That Could.
