A new survey by the consulting firm Challenger Gray & Christmas claims Super Bowl Sunday could cost employers over $3 billion the Monday after the big game. Because people like to PARTY!

The company claims 16.5 million people skipped work on Monday because of their Super Bowl partying. Companies in the Boston and Philadelphia areas were hit the hardest. Over 60% of Super Bowl viewers are employed. If every worker, who watches the Super Bowl come in an hour late on Monday it would cost employers $1.78 billion.
